Please join us for an informative session featuring California’s Lieutenant Governor, and candidate for Governor, John Garamendi, who will share his thoughts and plans to bolster the state’s education and workforce systems. This forum will also include Dr. Charles Weis, Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools, who will discuss the state of the schools in Santa Clara County. A local educator will present information on how the integration of leading-edge IT in the classroom can improve student achievement and reduce costs. 

Educators, school board members, school IT directors/CIOs, business leaders, and community leaders will have the opportunity to hear the Lt. Governor’s thoughts on how California will address education in this century, as well as to share best practices on IT use in education.
